Steve Whitlock, veteran orthopedic executive, to present innovative non-fusion spine products

Austin, TX (October 13, 2005)
LDR Spine, a total spine solution company, announced today that Steve Whitlock, president and CEO, has been selected to present at the In Spine & Orthopedics event being held Nov. 2-3 in Dallas. Whitlock will highlight the novel artificial discs for which LDR Spine is seeking approval for use in the United States.

Mobi-C® and Mobidisc® are pioneering, second-generation artificial cervical and lumbar discs. They are the only discs that use mobile-bearing technology with contained mobility and are designed to provide a natural range of movement. Mobi-C utilizes a one-step implantation which simplifies the surgical technique. Mobidisc is accompanied by simple, easy-to-use instrumentation and offers a wide range of sizing options.

Whitlock has worked in the musculoskeletal industry for over 15 years in various roles such as business development, product development and marketing. As president and CEO of LDR Spine, he is responsible for all company functions and works with the board of directors to insure company performance.
