Quality / Regulatory Specialist

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure U.S. operation complies with procedures necessary for compliance with U.S. standards.
• Develop procedures for LDR-Austin and audit quality system in France to ensure necessary systems are in place to support FDA PMA Application.
• Develop and/or support 510k filings and maintain all product inserts and IFUs.
• Monitor marketing communication to ensure proper compliance with U.S. rules and regulations.
• Monitor and manage product complaint system, including completion of required product investigations.
• Manage cleaning & sterilization validations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in required in technical area
• 5 years in medical devices (US FDA regulated) as Quality Engineer and/or Regulatory Specialist.
• Experience in US FDA regulatory submissions (510k, IDE, PMA) desired
• Familiarity with vender audits
• Good working knowledge of 21CFR820, ISO 13485:2000, ISO 14971, and ISO 10993
• ASQ, QA and/or RAC certification preferred
• French language skills desired
• Willing to travel 10-20%

Direct Sales Representative

Provide the highest degree of service and exclusive sales related functions within territory for all products. Responsible to develop and maintain personal rapport with surgeon customer, surgeon staff members, and hospital personnel. Support and execute company’s strategies related to customer acquisition, growth, and retention. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent field. Minimum five (5) years successful selling experience of orthopedic/spine or related medical devices. Ability to travel at least 60% of time

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Establish credibility as technical expert in surgical instruments and implant systems.
• Ensure implant inventory is ordered and delivered timely prior to scheduled surgeries.
• Utilize industry/product information and training available from LDR Marketing and other sources.
• Demonstrate understanding and adhere to basic hospital and surgery protocols.
• Capable of using X-rays effectively for reference, preparation and communicating to O.R. team.
• Attend all surgeries personally to assist surgeon with implant use and problems that may arise; arrive promptly and assist staff with set-up and other arrangements.
• Provide advice and resources to surgeons in needed areas beyond LDR Spine products.
